As a DevOps Consultant guided You will lead our client to a successful technical DevOps implementation or improvement using a clear strategy. You know the ropes and have done similar projects elsewhere. You take into account the Business goals and technical (im)possibilities and work closely with developers, POs and fellow DevOps engineers.
You see engineering as a resource to achieve goals, and you are up-to-date on the latest cutting-edge techniques and principles such as Kubernetes, Cloud Native, Istio and Prometheus.
# You have at least 4 years of work experience in a similar role, but you are ambitious and see this role as a impetus for further growth.
# You understand how You can take the customer on a Cloud Native journey.
# You have experience setting up CI/CD pipe-lines With different types of tooling in different Cloud environments.
# You have experience setting up scalable platforms.
# You are following our Kubernetes trainings, Come to our Meetups, co-write our white papers; you want to be the best in your profession!

You are a Cloud Consultant at N-Able. You recommends our clients about the best Cloud strategy. You do this from your expertise and experience but you can also fall back on your colleagues. You will encounter the most diverse IT environments. Sometimes the customer is already migrating, sometimes the Cloud Journey has yet to begin. As an Open Source enthusiast you are open-minded; perhaps the client is running Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. You give advice on how to Kubernetes can be implemented, the CI/CD pipe-line should be streamed and what tooling best fits into it.
The client's Business is central and so you come up with the best solution; taking into account technical (im)possibilities, the client's Business processes and culture. You advise, but are also the tech-lead.
# You have a technical Open Source background of at least 6 years.
# You have at least 6 years of experience with Cloud technology such as Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, Google or OpenStack and obviously knows tooling such as Docker, Jenkins / Gitlab
# You know the principles of Containerization, Cloud Native and Cloud first.
# You are consultant, but from your technical hands-on experience and have fun sitting behind the console yourself.

In the role of DevOps engineer, you will work directly in operations. You have great responsibility and broad knowledge. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and implement the latest (DevOps) tooling. Soms you will work in corporate environments, sometimes in smaller ones. You will participate in our trainings and you continuously increase your knowledge; but we also expect you to share your knowledge with colleagues.
As a techie, you know how to convince others based on your knowledge, but you communicate this clearly and without frills.
# You have a technical Open Source background.
# You have experience with tooling such as Docker, Jenkins / Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Prometheus, ContainerD, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform.
# You have an extraordinary interest in the latest tooling such as Rook, LeftD, Helmet, etcd.
# Automation is your second nature and you have a Cloud first thought.
